Social Studies Update

Students in high school wrapped up their semester with an essay test over the Asian empires on Tuesday. They did a great job engaging with the questions and utilizing primary sources to corroborate their arguments. In the spring semester, we’ll pick up with the Enlightenment in Europe and the many ways it changes society, freedoms, and governments. This will pair nicely with the spring philosophy elective that several students will be taking, and I’m excited to see the way our learning naturally integrates and supports a stronger understanding of these key thinkers and events.
