Qu Digraph Discovery

The kindergarten class has been learning about various digraphs during our phonics lessons. This week’s digraph was “qu”. The students were introduced to the “qu” digraph by watching a video and then to enhance their learning they began creating “qu” crown. Learning these sound patterns can be tricky, but they are extremely helpful when it comes to reading. Some words that the students learned have that “qu” sound are: queen, quill, quack, quake, quail, quiet, etc.
