Compliment cards

This week in yoga, we are doing my favorite mindfulness craft, compliment cards. For Kindergarten, each student decorated a card with stickers, jewels, pom poms and whatever fun craft accessory I could find. We left names off of the cards, as I will go in and write a compliment inside of them, and include a small gift with each card. I will also be sending home a bookmark for your student. I just published a book, Breathe With Me by Mindful Miss D.  It is 20 breathing techniques and journal prompts to help your student with emotions, feeling and how to handle them. These are breathing techniques I utilize at school, but I really want to reach more kids.  The book is available now for pre-order online (Amazon or Barnes and Noble) and officially released December 17th. The bookmark is my gift.  I love what I do.

Compliment cards will be sent home next Friday.  Have a wonderful holiday break.
